This project consisted of the reconfiguration, extension and refurbishment of a substantial residential property and associated outbuildings to provide a unique family home full of personal touches and bold design choices.

 

A hidden cellar has been created beneath what is now a large kitchen / dining area and a loggia enclosed and drawing room sympathetically extended to provide additional living / working space for the occupants.

 

Internal walls have been removed to enlarge rooms and provide a more practical layout and flow to the property, whilst small leaded windows have been replaced to provide additional light where necessary.

 

The external spaces have been extensively landscaped to make the most of the views of the South Downs as well as providing facilities for entertaining such as the semi-enclosed pool house
